It may be winter, but the scene is absolutely gorgeous and you've captured it beautifully. I like all three elements -- sky, mountains and water.

So serene, with no tourists and boats cluttering up the seascape. LOL
Wonderful photo, Linnea. I love it.

What a lovely place, I could sit there for hours with or without a fishing rod.

WATER, AH, WATER

Water as river or puddle or frost;
Water that’s roaming alone and seems lost;
Water that looks like sharp daggers of ice;
Water that’s frozen as small as white rice;
All of this water, no matter where found
Will one day seep back far, far underground
And surface again for fountain and flush—
Water, ah, water, you make things so lush!

OH!!! I love Anacortes, WA, my husband and I have been there several times. We used to vacation in that area when we lived in British Columbia. What a gorgeous photo you got, that is the prettiest area that I have ever been in. I love the coast of WA!
When you left me a comment you mentioned that it looked like it was cold that day, it was in the -30's C and was -40 C with the wind chill. Celsius and Fahrenheit meet at -40, so it was VERY cold that day. We had fun getting those snapshots, though, but we were very happy to get back into a warm car!
Hugs, Cindy
