Watery Wednesday

You'd think that with all the rain that has been falling around here lately, I'd be able to get out and shoot a watery scene from somewhere around my neighborhood. Well, I haven't been getting out much lately,
so here's a shot from last year -

Kinkakuji, the Golden Pavilion, reflected in still waters...
Kyoto, Japan
(1/29/08)

Hi Linnea, I am glad you got that rain. Our weather reports say you had quite a lot, also some snow a little to the east.
We are in the middle of a drougth here in our part of Texas out north and west from Houston. Our grass is starting to green with the about an inch that we have had this week. Our burn ban is still in effect.

Thank you for reading my poem. Best wishes for the driving son, that is a big step. I remember when our daughter first could drive. Within two days of her license she took the car to go see some friends. She was used to doing that with her bike, why not?

Wonderful shot and that reflection in great! I did an online puzzle of a building that looked like this one. It might be the same one but I think it was red.

This is so pretty. It looks like a double building from the reflection.
