What an incredible photo! We have windmills like that down here in our desert, but mostly up in the high desert. When I go up next trip, I'll have to look for some! Very nice!
Hi Linnea, This is beautifully captured. I love your use of depth of field with the focus directly on the old windmill and the twigs in the foreground / hills in the background there in supporting roles. By the way, this looks nothing like the windmills we have here - just given me an idea for a future Scenic Sunday shot! have a good week. Janice.

Very scenic! I love the whole effect.
Your photo is beautiful!! Of course, the scenery is beautiful too, but the way you captured it is stunning!
Linnea, this is wonderful. I love the colors. The windmill, to think of it as retired.... and those Calif. hills, they have my heart.
Cute windmill, beautiful sky! Have a real nice week!/Eva
great windmill shot!
This is one pretty photo! Thanks for the visit and the leaving a comment. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Nice photo! The rust on the blades adds a lot of character and age to the feel.
I like the way the windmill appears to hover between the sky and the mountain.
This windmill looks a lot like the one at my parents farm - except their windmill is practically new! Nice shot w/ the mountains in the background!!!
Hmmm....what beautiful names, Oak Hill and Devil's Mountain. I love the blue blue sky there.
Retired Windmill? Haha cool. Still looking active! By the way thanks for checking mine at Joyoz Photography. God Bless.
The windmill makes a good subject!
