Well, quite apart from admiring the scenery and the lovely mustard yellow colour, this has sparked off all kinds of questions in my brain! I've never heard of mustard grass - all the pictures on the Internet are from California, so I was wondering if this is what we call the mustard plant (where mustard seed comes from) or if it's a different plant all together, local to CA. If you drive through fields of the mustard seed producing plant I can just imagine the scent that must produce - one of those occasions where the blog version of 'smellyvision' would come in handy! Janice.
Beautiful view, gotta love that mix of yellow and green.

Oh I love this time of the year; I-680 is not a part of my commute but sometimes we drive by and I guess I'll find a reason to drive by with all the mustard in full bloom.
That's beautiful! It's a very relaxing image, yet full of energy. It makes me crave spring, but we in Colorado are still in the middle of Wring? Sprinter? - mid way between spring and winter :)

What a lovely shot. I love the foreground and how the yellow slides into the middle ground as well.
