My World - at least the one that pays my bills:
Chabot College.
Here's the Grand Court with its bizarrely pruned trees.
The circular building in the background houses
the Library and Student Services.
Our campus is undergoing lots of changes:
old buildings are being torn down and
new ones put up in their place;
classrooms are undergoing renovations, and
old staff is retiring and new staff being hired.
Exciting times in My World!

They certainly are bizarre.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
Funny trees, I like them.
Its sad when old buildings (of value, architecture wise) are torn down. Hey, trees don't look bizarre to me, they look like dancing skeletons, funny! For all you know, new leaves will sprout.
Bella....
Thanks, I've sent you an email about the books. Actually those oddly pruned trees remind me of some of the trees we've got in our school grounds.
Very weird trees. Will they sprout leaves or stay like that?
The shadows of those trees is just a little creepy...good thing it's a nice sunny day or I might be scared! Love the circular building!
Funny trees! I like them. You certainly have much change at workplace. It is both exciting and stressful, but the most important is to have a fun when you are at work (and of course some times it's tough) Thank you for nice comments. I really appreciated them.
I love those trees when the are naked. So cool!
Looks like a lovely place - and those trees are really funny!
Thanks for visiting!
Looks like a wonderful place to work, it has ambience! ;) Love the trees in the parking lot, they are so unique and add so much to the feeling there.
Cool trees...they look like images of neurons.
Those trees look like the ones in San Francisco along the Fisherman's Wharf/Ghirardelli Sq area
Nice shot!
Back from holiday, trying to catch up ...
Nice angle of the tree. Great shot as always.
Those trees really do look bizarre but they cast very interesting shadows. It's a great photo.
I think it's sort of a pity to tear down old buildings and build new ones in their place. Renovating the old ones might be expensive but surely no more than doing what is now being done and the actual personality of these older buildings is often far greater than that of modern ones.
It sounds as if the college is growing, which is probably a good thing. But I have to agree that the trees are bizarre-looking.
I live in Calif as well, I've never seen trees like those, they're interesting! Hope the transition at your school goes smoothly.

gee, they sure looks like outworldly. I hope the changes around the school is going smoothly for everybody.
We all inhabit many worlds in our lives, but the one that pays the bills is an important one! Unusual trees, but California has unusual (and beautiful) things to see. Great shot of the trees and building!
beautiful campus...love those trees. what kind are they?
have a great week.
Strange trees! But very beautiful at the same time! =)
Thanks for visiting me.
Very unusual trees. looks at the nodules or old people's fingers. When spring comes, do they have buds and turn green?
Thanks for visiting my site,
Cheers,
Ann
