I love to experience highly dramatic weather; unfortunately,
the weather patterns in the San Francisco Bay Area
are pretty mild by my standards. However,
a couple of days ago we were visited by
unsettled skies and very high winds.
Wanting to feel the wind against my face and
do some skywatching, I headed up to a
nearby park for the best views...

Hi, I remember driving home with all that gusty wind. I thought my car was driving drunk.
Your sky was more dramatic over the East Bay hills than ours here by the bay.
Very nice caputure of a bright and cloudy day. Look Awesome.
Great shot! the weather seems cool!

Blog.
The sky's great, but I really love the soft, curvy hills.
Great photo....dramatic dark sky ...nice contrast with that beautiful green meadow...
Very nice scenic and sky pic.
Great shot of the land and sky. I love the clouds developing and forming in this photo.
Very nice shot. I also like it when the view is backlit, a dark cloudy sky with sun shining from the other direction. Makes for some eerie lighting.
That looks like our sky here a couple of days ago! Today was sunny and clear, however! It was a great day for a drive! Great shot!
Really cool but terribly threatening looking. I hope to get a few pics of ominous skies this spring/summer!
Looks like a storm is brewing.
A great view indeed, we have a beautiful state.
What a blustery sky! Delightful!
Great shot. We've had lots of wind, too.
Love the colors in this one!
Good combination. Nice shot as usual.
Your sky looks as scary as mine !
Lovely sky, even lovelier green hills. Nice shot!
Nice shot. I love the stormy looking sky.
Looks like a scene right out of the "Sound of Music." Julie Andrews will come hopping along any minute!
All that boring weather is what I like most about San Francisco ... and this shot is wonderful
I've always thought that most of California has a great climate, but boring weather. Nice shot.
I love ow you write and can feel the wind i my face too :)

What a fantastic view. I had the 18-200 for almost a year before it was taken away by Grace to put on her D40. Thanks for visiting our blog and nice comment.
That's one of my most favourite contrasts. I love that effect!
I love this image. Did you see I added you to my blogroll recently? Your work is great.
I love this photo. The bright saturated green foreground and the deep gray sky, you captured it well.
This is such a lovely photo overall... I always love it when the green grass reaches up to a dramatic sky, and this one is surely dramatic and magnificent. You captured it wonderfully! :)
What a lovely photo ... it looks like a painting I could get lost in.
Hugs and blessings,
The mind needs some wind and wide green pastures to be clear.
That is a wonderful shot! So beautiful, the green green landscape against the slightly stormy sky! Love it!
Beautiful picture! The blue colour and the sky are dramatic-wonderful. Very good composed
And I must say that you did very well - I love dramatic skies too, like just before a tornado around here! I don't like the actual tornado tho - of course!!! Very cool shot you've captured here!!!
The sky and grass compliment each other so well.
Beautiful sky and the grass as well.. have a nice day..
The colours where the sky and grass meet are beautiful in full screen. Very committed of you to head out when a storm was brewing. I hope your lens is working well now...?
What a gorgeous Photo!
I love the contrast of the spring coloured field and the dark clouds!
