Monochrome Monday

Today (6/22) is my wedding anniversary, and I was supposed to pick up my son and husband from SFO after not having seen them for several weeks. Instead, I'll spend the day alone...they are both in quarantine in Costa Rica...they may have been exposed to the swine flu and can't leave the country until the test results come back...

Here's a suitable monochrome image representing how I'm feeling right now...

I am not surprised you feel that way.
It is probably a panic over nothing - hope you see them soon.

Ouf, that's not a great way to spend the anniversary. Hopefully you will soon see them and you are all fit for fight. Big hug from Norway.

Sorry, you spent your anniversary alone, I do hope they will be back soon....
The statue looks like it is saying
"I am not amused"........:-/

I can see why you feel the way that statue looks!
Now you will just enjoy the day they come home even more. :-)

Regardless, happy anniversary! You may be feeling alone, but perhaps you can find some solace, some company in the fact that they would be there with you to celebrate if they could.

Im sure they are fine. People are just taking all the precautions.

Happy anniversary anyway! Did they go with you to Peru?

Nice look for a statue, but sorry you have to feel that way. I wouldn't be happy either. Hope they come back quickly and you have a nice anniversary!

Great monochrome. Statues are great subjects for b+w.

I hope the quarantine is short and your family is returned to you soon, and Happy Anniversary!!

Beautiful monochrome image reflecting your feelings at this frustrating turn of events. I hope they're both well and that you'll celebrate your anniversary belatedly when they return.

Well, could be storied as a 'god-like' thingee. I'm assuming the statue is of Poseidon. Hope your men are on their way back.

Hope you get to see them soon. How frustrating and difficult! I feel for you. And I wanted to say the Anacortes shot is just gorgeous, and lucky you to have been in Peru! I was there years ago and it's one of my very fave places ever.
