Beautiful shot...looks late afternoon, but certainly could be early morning. Warm, warm colors.
Great colours and the right time of the day to shoot a scene like this. One comment though try and not put the horizon in the centre of the frame. In this image you have some nice rocks in the foreground which would improve the image greatly. However saying this you got have captured some lovely warm colours.
As you say, home is always home.

What a beautiful place. My home for the last 27 years has been the lush greens and beautiful blues of Florida.
Oh such a beautiful home. I think I have said it before, I would love a log cabin in the woods near the shore.
I can see why this would be home to you. The waters lapping wave over wave to catch on your ear. Beautiful image. On a quiet day one could go sit by the edge and contemplate their writing. Have a great day.
