My dear friend turned 50 and hosted
a fabulous dining experience for her close friends.
Shortly before we sat down to feast on duck and chicken,
I snuck out into her gorgeous backyard
and caught these lanterns swaying gently
in the soft spring breeze...

The textures on the glass pieces look so touchable. Duck is so good, but I've always felt weird eating an animal that I find to be awesome. Like capybara or guinea pig.
