I've tended to think that the Golden Gate Bridge is always more ruby than gold...

It certianly looks red in your picture! I thought it was red. But then I've never actually seen it before so I wouldn't really know.

Normally you see the bridge from the city, this is a nice variation on the theme, seeing the skyline through the bridge.
