Something to think about. We ususally see them as an intrusion into our view. Since we can't avoid them perhaps we need to accept them as our source of light while encouraging the powers that be to limit the visual impact when possible.

Personally, I think they're ornaments. I often see wires and poles and think that's so...but I know so many photographers frown on them in photos. Some day I'm going to take a photo series of them. In fact, if the weather were better I might even start today because this photo has inspired me!
