It's not a familiar sign to me, though we have a company with similar initials. Our main company in Australia is CSR! Like how all the scaffolding for the sign becomes an artistic ingredient! Great photo!
20 years in the East Bay and I never knew this was in Crokett! What a fantastic shot. Kudos. My husband did a lot of carpentry work at the Spreckles' family mansion in SF--a major competing sugar company to C&H. -Kim

I put some of that "stuff" in my coffee tonight!
Crisp sky! What a blue. The sign can probably be read for miles.
«Louis» tried to get a shot like this of the C&H sign recently - and failed. Good job!
;-D
i know exactly where that is - lived in CC County for 19 years, the first 12 in Martinez.
Happy RT!
Great photograph.

I bake a lot so that sign is quite familiar! Just wish the packs of sugar still had that font style...lovely shot!
The skies are amazingly blue over California. I would have though they;d be more hazy or cloudy since you are beside the ocean.
I like this old sign and building. It reminds me of a similar one in Toronto on Lake Ontario.
Ah yes, had some with my coffee this morning. Like the angle of the shot. Very well done.
That sky is an amazing clear blue. Wow.
I like old signs. Retro is always fun. ;-)
thanks for stopping by
