A classic shot and it works allmost every time. This is one of those times. Keep it simple and it tends to work well. Nice one! Hapy SW! (:

i could sit in a chair right where you took this photo and just stare at this for an entire day, and maybe nap a little here and there.
This is really lovely!

What a beautiful prairie scene!

How did you get the tree to pose so appropriately for this shot?

I'd save this one for a potential book cover . . . Thanks for sharing it with us.

Wow, amo sempre tutte le tue foto.
Guardare questo scenario induce a riflettere sul tempo che ci sfugge dalle mani :-)
Felice di aver potuto guardare questo bellissimo paesaggio, grazie di averlo voluto condividere :-)
Happy day.

Simply beautiful capture. Your decision to place the tree in the corner really added tension to the scene. Hope you have a great weekend. Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Waouh... I come on your blog for the first time of my life : wonderful ! You really know how to bring poetry in a little frame of colors. I look at your San Ramon Tree as I listen to a good country song : nobody here, no stress, no danger, but what will we discover behind the hill ? These green leaves and their shadow have the answer, and we just wait for the rain...
You know what ? Your pic remembers me the famous Andrew Wyeth's masterpiece "Christina's World"... Thank you for the job, you are The Eye.

An incredible pose!! Wish I'd lay under that tree. Is the tree near you? Thanks for joining me!

This is a wonderful picture of wide open spaces. That lone tree is a perfect element.

The green is fading to gold. Our cool, damp spring kept things green longer than usual but now the grass is ripening and the flowers mostly done. Alas, it's time for summer.

I'll join the chorus of appreciation for this classic image. I want to be there!

That's a classic. Spent age 3-7years in the Livermore Valley, and all my school drawings were of the hills. I still crave this landscape and go driving out near you and over in Marin quite a bit when I'm down there to get my "fix." :-)
