Ha, on the water for me, the hill is not high enough to save you from a decent tidal wave anyway.

Hmm....A little erosion and the hill becomes the water's edge! So I'll take the top level and buy some time.
I think I will continue to live away from hill sides and rivers...but, I sure do enjoy a restaurant or resort on the waters edge!
