Super cool! I don't think I have ever flown over the eastern Sierras. That is a beautiful shot down below. I seem to go north via the edge of the Pacific and cut and skim along the lower western Sierra coming back into Los Angeles...what a view you had!

Hallo Linnea...sitze hier am Laptop in Bayyern und werde langsam gesund. Noch ist die Schulter im Verband und erst in zwei Wochen kann ich mich wieder frei bewegen. Ich hatte viele Schutzengel, um so beweusster lebe ich diesen Sommer.Ins Wasser darf gehe ich auch schon wieder. The clouds in the sky add nice drama to the beauty on the ground. Your composition and timing is perfect here. As a rule, I don't like taking photos through glass, but recently I've broken this self-imposed rule when in a plane and have liked the results.
