Gorgeous picture of crab pots. I have fond memories of Anacortes, Washington. Strange they should be fond memories, because my brother, my sister and I all got bad sunburns there one warm but cloudy day in 1962. In fact, my brother, a redhead, had sunstroke. Funny the things kids think are funny. Kay, Alberta, Canada PS -- I had forgotten the Ansel Adams quote. Probably because I'm a writer who snaps pictures, and not a photographer at all. Very apt for your blog, however. And now I must check out your other sites, especially the travel one, because I have one, too.
Once my eye got the hang of what it was looking at, I was full of admiration for what you have captured here. The repeating lines of yellow and the craziness of the other colours and shapes, is a very satisfying image. Bravo.
What an exciting photo. I remember being in Astoria, OR a few years ago and seeing pots piled up like this. The only color was orange. Very boring. This however is a visual treat for the eyes.
What a great photo!! And, of course, it has me wanting to eat a few of the crab pots contents.

I took the picture of the Hyway 20 bridge from the refinery. So it is the west side of Padilla bay and the east side of the refinery. I like to take that circle drive around the refinery. Many sights to see. MB

A crazy, fun meltdown of colours and lines with bursts of yellow everywhere! A fascinating photo!
This is a riot of colours and lines (that needed a bit of untangling for me to see what I was looking at!)
