Beautiful bridge and very scenic part of our country - not that my San Francisco area isn't scenic as well!

At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon!
( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life, some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well )

The water beneath the bridge is such a lovely shade of blue, which contrasts nicely with the sand and driftwood. Is it a two-lane bridge? It looks rather narrow but perhaps that's because it was built in 1935.

Super capture of the bridge; the blues of the water call me...

The water is such a deceptively beautiful colour! That is a narrow, elegant bridge - I hope its aesthetics aren't ruined by adding another span.

I am feeling over whelmed with all the beautiful sights in our country...and, not so far away, either. How I would love to be standing on this sandy beach and looking at this amazing bridge...I am trying to go in all directions at once...wow!

the color of the water is fantastic! Is that the deception? It looks so inviting, but it's not? :)

Lovely choice for the Sunday series.

«Louis» visited Whidbey Island some 20 years ago, but he doesn't recall having crossed this bridge. Be that as it may, it is a welcome contribution to Sunday Bridges.
