The colours are lovely, cool tiled steps. The porch top looks heavier than the door.
Like you, I am fascinated by window and door photos. This one is very unique. I think they tell so many stories. Great shot.
When I was taking photographs I was also fascinated by doors! Apparently door making was an art form that has been lost in modern times, maybe that's why we are drawn to particular frames - they carry a creative quality.
