Victoria, BC, is known for its abundance of flowers,
and the locals take their flower gardens very seriously.
I snapped these as I was walking
around the Governor's Mansion
in between spring showers.
Not sure what they are called...any ideas?

Magnificent shot.
They are very pretty.
I took some photos of them too and I was hoping to find out the name too.
Thanks for your kind words!
Don't know what they are called, but they sure are cheerful!
Beautiful spring flowers!
I lived in BC for more than 50 years, and I can't put a name to them, either, although they certainly do look familiar.
Floral sunshine between the spring showers!

The swedish name is Vårkrage and Gemsrot, but I guess thats not much for a help :) The first name means Spring collar...Beautiful photo of it anyway!
Some kind of daisy, maybe? They're definitely bright, sunny, & happy!!! =)
Lovely, have you been to the Butchard Gardens yet? They should be absolutely magnificent at this time of year.
