Two cute polite pooches.
What good boys they are.
Sometimes they seem anxious, afraid that their people will not return. Other dogs are complacent, waiting again. These seem somewhere in between.

What sweet good dogs! I'll add my theory about why they're facing opposite directions. Either they had a spat and aren't speaking to each other, or their guardians are a couple who went in opposite directions to run their errands, so one of the furkids is watching for mom, while the other is on the lookout for dad. :-)
