Barn Charm

Here's one of the last remaining barns in Pleasanton.
The photo is a bit deceiving...the barn is actually sandwiched
between a busy freeway and an upscale housing development
appropriately called "The Preserve" containing 600 homes.
Nevertheless, it makes for a good photo op!

What a beautiful barn! The red just pops against the background. I would never have thought it was in such a busy area.

Wow, well done, showing it without the freeway or the housing development! It looks wonderfully rural and peaceful.

Poor farm being so outnumbered by urban dwellers.

Hi Linnea, Welcome to Barn Charm!

Barns in California are hard to come by, from what I understand, but you've found an absolute beauty, here... and next door to an upscale neighborhood? =0... What will happen to it? I hope it stays! Beautiful barn & view! WoW!

Thanks so much for joining in & keeping Barn Charm in mind!

Outstanding photo! And a gorgeous barn! Looks like its in the middle of nowhere not near a freeway and a housing development. Marvelous light in this shot.

I wouldn't have guessed the surroundings of this barn if you hadn't told us. It's still a great photo.

Well, as far as barns go, it looks pretty neat. As for here, in Norfolk, most of the barns have now been converted into expensive homes!
