Photo Challenge: Movement
I zoomed in on this boat from my vantage point
on Deception Pass Bridge 180 feet above.
The little boat was making its way effortlessly
through the swift, outgoing tide.
You can't really see it that well,
but there was a lot of movement going on
in those churning waters below...

You did a wonderful job of capturing movement here. You also did a beautiful job capturing the colors of the water.
What a terrific capture, Linnea! Really beautiful! It's hard not to get a good shot at Deception Pass, isn't it!! Hope your week is going well!

Beautiful golden light on the water. I'm afraid I would not want to be in that tiny boat among those large waves.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my photo challenge entry. To answer your inquiry, the concert and dancers were performing outside underneath a tent. There were some large fans blowing on the stage and off to the sides of the tent in the area where the dancers were performing. Still, the keyboard player told the audience that it was about 120 degrees underneath the dancer's buffalo costume. Yes, it was an extremely hot day but there was a breeze and thankfully not as humid as normally is.
I like it, most of all the colours in the water.
scale and water are hard to convey this well.
Pleasant thoughts &
