I've seen a lot of winter squash at my farmer's market of late but not pumpkins. But, of course, the orange kabocha looks a lot like pumpkin.
Yup its the time for pumpkins. Great shot - like the light and shadows in your picture.

Orange is a favourite colour of this month. In my country we use the colour orange a lot, for our Queen is a member of the House of Orange.

Lovely nest for the pumpkins! I often wonder what will happen to those lots of pumpkins the US produce, and those plenty of harvests on the ground, what happens to all of those!
