It may not look like it, but it was about 22 degrees Fahrenheit when I shot this. Those clouds are the beginning of the big snowstorm that hit Oregon in early February...
Great capture and YES!! It was cold in Oregon early this month! Surely is nice to have some blue skies today along with mild temps -- well, at least here in Portland!! Have a great weekend, Linnea!!
I am your newest follower. The house on the edge sure can enjoy the sky watches but I wouldn't want to be in there during a wind storm. Must be wonderful to hear the waves crashing though. I can almost smell the ocean from here. Thank you for this wonderful post. JM Illinois
I like how you can see that strip if precipitation off to the right. And a house on teh edge like that always looks so vulnerable (even it would have a front row seat to all the action!)
What beautiful shot! Building a house out there leaves so many questions in my head, the builders must have had a deep knowledge of the area and the weather patterns.
Glad you stopped by at Photoblogista. I'm an avid amateur photographer, and I'm using this blog to post my photo memes.

I love this shot!!
I really like this view, for some reason it give me a feeling of isolation, also like your header photo.
All the best Gordon.
Beautiful composition.
Such a beautiful seascape. I think I would enjoy all the changing colours of weather patterns there.
Oh, what a gorgeous shot.
HAHAHA!!!
"Cape Foulweather" - with the snow storm pending, this is well-named!
This photo belongs on the cover of a novel. There are so many possible stories to be told ...

Happy Sky Watch,
