Hi, Linea, Thanks for visiting my blog. We are staying here for now with my family. You've got great pictures too. Thanks for sharing and Happy Mother's Day! By the way, I'm not sure if you're a mom, hehehe! Anyway, to your mom too! God bless
Hi Linnea, thanks for your suggestions. I agree about cropping the left side a bit more but what I'm looking for is a better understanding on how to make it work using the light and the camera settings - if that's possible for this scene and these conditions. I'm going to ask you what may be a silly question. You said you need to figure out what you did with each of your manual shots to make the difference. You do know that if you right click you can see the EXIF data (the properties) and this tells you all the information you could possibly need for each shot? You can do this in Explorer and Photoshop Elements. I know you use iphoto but assume you can do it in that too. Does this EXIF information help you? (I only know about this because of my digital photography course.) Janice.

Hey, I drove past the barn of my childhood...come see on my barns blog! I made it the header, since no other barn I've seen even compares to it! And, it is still standing! ~~Cheryl Ann~~

That is a gorgeous scene. I would love to see it in person.
I love your color presentation. I always wonder, why they paint the barn red. Happy mommy's day!

This is the apparent theme of your post without question. A happy farm with a red-painted barn framed inside an idyllic setting.
Please have a look!

Very pretty scenic. It reminds me of scenes I've seen in Vermont.

I love the colour of the red barn. It sets off nicely against the green scenery.
