Skywatch Friday

The John Hancock Tower (aka "the Hancock") in Boston's Back Bay
was plagued with problems during its initial construction...
foundation problems, falling glass panes,
and nauseating swaying on the upper floors.
The observation deck has been closed since 9/11,
so all you get now is a skyward view...

I love buildings like this! Wow, how long can you stand around and gaze at the images reflected in that glass...and, it changes so fast. Love it!

«Louis» had forgotten about those design problems - the falling panels were a really big issue, and understandably so. He doesn't remember what the cure was. Were they able to do anything about the swaying?«Louis» had also forgotten about that...
In any case, nice shot.

Am not fond of these glass towers - but then again, they do make wonderful reflections!
