The reconstruction of the 1770's Old North Bridge
across the Concord River is a historical site
P.S. It was REALLY, REALLY HOT when I took this shot!

Very beautiful, Linnea. We don't see bridges like this back in South Africa, (definitely not in North Africa!) so a really enjoyable post for me. Have a great Sunday. Jo, North Africa

Gorgeous photo, Linnea. Well worth braving the heat to get something like this... at least well worth YOU doing it. I'm no photographer, so I'd have stayed somewhere with A/C. What a wimp I am.

This is a wonderful picture of the bridge, sky and water. I was at Concord many years ago, but I didn't get any pictures this good.

Do you watch the Flight of the Concords? They feature two New Zealand actors, and today, they are introduced to the Simpsons.

what a beautiful bridge. can it still support foot traffic?

lovely cloudscape.

What a great day to take a shot. Nice shadows, but excellent, dramatic clouds make it so much more interesting than a clear blue sky would have been.

Oh I love those old stones there on the bottom - or are they new since it's been reconstructed? Nevertheless, it's a niiice bridge!

If you like photographing old barns, come join my new Tuesday meme opening Monday evenings called 'Old Barns'. I'd love for you to join!

What a gorgeous shot. As always, your composition is spot on. This one makes me think of fairytale endings - over the hills and far away!
