The reconstruction of the 1770's Old North Bridge
across the Concord River is a historical site
in the Battle of Concord.
P.S. It was REALLY, REALLY HOT when I took this shot!

Very cool and very historical.
Nice reflection too.
I like wooden bridges. MB
Very beautiful, Linnea. We don't see bridges like this back in South Africa, (definitely not in North Africa!) so a really enjoyable post for me. Have a great Sunday. Jo, North Africa

It may have been hot, but this bridge is cool!
This is a gorgeous old bridge and a beautiful capture!
Gorgeous photo, Linnea. Well worth braving the heat to get something like this... at least well worth YOU doing it. I'm no photographer, so I'd have stayed somewhere with A/C. What a wimp I am.

Lovely old bridge and a gorgeous photo.
This is a wonderful picture of the bridge, sky and water. I was at Concord many years ago, but I didn't get any pictures this good.
What a unique bridge! Thanks for getting out in the heat to get the shot!
I love the perspective you chose for this shot! Beautiful capture!!!
It´s simply beautiful

marvelous looking wooden bridge. thanks for braving the heat to share this photo.:p
Do you watch the Flight of the Concords? They feature two New Zealand actors, and today, they are introduced to the Simpsons.
Immagine che induce a pensare !!!
It's a pretty bridge. I'm glad they have rebuilt it.
what a beautiful bridge. can it still support foot traffic?
lovely cloudscape.
What a great day to take a shot. Nice shadows, but excellent, dramatic clouds make it so much more interesting than a clear blue sky would have been.
That's one of the places my hubby told me about. Very picturesque capture of such a historical place :-
)
A beautiful old bridge:) And I also love the passion flower :)
Thank you so much for your nice comment in my photo blog:) It is so nice to get viewers from other countries:)
Lovely shot, Linnea. I've been to Concord - such a beautiful place with so much history - I loved it and would love to return.
Janice.
So much luscious sunlight. And a beautiful bridge!
«Louis» is a week late to his own party...and he apologizes that he was unable to stop by last week when you posted this.
Oh I love those old stones there on the bottom - or are they new since it's been reconstructed? Nevertheless, it's a niiice bridge!
If you like photographing old barns, come join my new Tuesday meme opening Monday evenings called 'Old Barns'. I'd love for you to join!
Nice place to be....good picture.

What a gorgeous shot. As always, your composition is spot on. This one makes me think of fairytale endings - over the hills and far away!
