We've had very high winds here the past two days,
so our skies have been exceptionally clear.
Here's tonight's sky as viewed
from our skywatching platform at work -
(courtesy of my iphone)...
P.S. That opening in the top of the pic is an opening in the roof for light and ventilation, or as I like to call it "my sky hole"...

Terrific captures as always, Linnea! And I, too, love the colors! Enjoy your weekend!

Cool...what is that thing at the top?
Beautiful simplicity. Love the color of the sky.
Very cool pic!
Lovely shots of the sky, it is clear. All the smog is gone. Happy Skywatching!
Beautiful shot!
Love the colors.

It's a good thing, an opening in the roof. Nice sky!

Unique! It's like the oculus in the Pantheon. We may be partially responsible for your winds. We just posted a record high barometric pressure at Sea-Tac. This can push air down the Great Basin and out your way. Take care.
Beautiful colors. and the roof with the sky hole adds some drama.
I wish my work had a skywatching platform!
