Skywatch Friday

We've had very high winds here the past two days,
so our skies have been exceptionally clear.
Here's tonight's sky as viewed
from our skywatching platform at work -
(courtesy of my iphone)...
P.S. That opening in the top of the pic is an opening in the roof for light and ventilation, or as I like to call it "my sky hole"...

Unique! It's like the oculus in the Pantheon. We may be partially responsible for your winds. We just posted a record high barometric pressure at Sea-Tac. This can push air down the Great Basin and out your way. Take care.
