There is something very gentle on the eyes with that colour scheme. Nice find.
They are wonderfully symmetrical and I like the graduated sizes took with the smallest at the very top. Irvine is just down the road from me . . . about 30 minutes on the 405 if there's no traffic (a laughable statement!)

The blue is a nice contrast to the colour of the brick.
Another good shot....the light is certainly in your favour where you live.....a simple shot looks so beautiful here too.
