Traveling along Wisconsin's Highway 94 toward Chicago, we were charmed by the many barns and farms we saw. We took an exit and headed down a side road so that I could photograph this beauty. Notice the abandoned boat in front of the barn (click to enlarge).
This part of Wisconsin is full of lovely barns - I wish I could have photographed them all!

When I drive up to the Pacific Northwest along Interstate 5, I pass many barns, but I rarely have the opportunity to take a freeway exit and track them down.
This one I found when I got off to tank up. It's a simple barn surrounded by wheat fields and puffy white clouds...
