Last weekend I was in beautiful Carmel. 

Before I knew it, the sun was starting to set, 

so I raced down the hill toward the beach. 

Darn, a moment too late.

How often does one get to witness the setting sun in Beijing?

Not very often; especially if you don't live there!

You can imagine how frustrated I felt

as I saw this beautiful sky evolve

all while I was stuck on a bus and unable to get off!

Oh well, I had to rely (or settle) on a quick drive-by shot

out the window...

I didn't have a tripod with me and it was getting too dark to shoot by hand,
